A WEST VIRGINIA PHOTOGRAPHER WHO LOVES TO WANDER

Marissa Fanary is my name, and visual story telling is my game! I am a southern West Virginia based creative and freelance photographer, connoisseur of iced coffee, adventure seeker, hiker, and [most importantly] fungi enthusiast. I am a free spirit and explorer at heart who loves everything authentic and natural.

I was raised in Wild & Wonderful West Virginia where my affinity for nature, and its' many nuances, was born. I began building my brand in 2017, working alongside clients and tourism boards such as: Martinsburg CVB, Top of West Virginia, Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company, and more.

I hike and photograph my way through the world, creating memories and stories that last a lifetime. Through my photography I aim to encourage others to find joy in the great outdoors, and tell a story that allows the viewer to feel as though they are also taking part in the journey.
